For California Democratic Party Chair

I’m running for re-election as Chair of our Party.
Will you join me?

Delegates of the California Democratic Party –  Since my election as Chair in June 2019, we have experienced an unprecedented series of challenges as a party, a state and a country. From addressing issues of misconduct and harassment within our Party, to facing the devastating impact of a worldwide pandemic on our daily lives, to millions feeling the full fury of climate change, to confronting the brutal reminders of racial injustice in America, it has been a challenging period in our history unlike any other.

Despite these challenges, we have grown, adapted, and worked hard to help elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as President and Vice President. We have taken the steps to ensure our Party is one that reflects our great diversity and one that includes voices that often aren’t heard in the halls of power. We have engaged millions of voters both in California and across the nation through our people-powered 2020 Coordinated Campaign. We have implemented changes that have improved our Party’s organizational health.

But, while we’ve made great progress, there is still more work to be done to build a stronger party. We can continue to diversify our ranks to be a Party that works for and speaks for all. We can engage, organize and fight for millions of Californians on a year-round basis on the issues that help improve lives. We can be an example of principled, progressive change that uplifts the hopes and dreams of all Californians.  In the coming weeks and months, I look forward to our continued conversation on how we will move our Party forward together.

In the meantime, it has been my honor to serve you and I respectfully request your vote for re-election as Chair of the California Democratic Party.
